Recycle or Refill Inkjet Cartridges

Almost zero waste for your pocket and the planet

Inkjet cartridges can be refilled - often for a fraction of the price of a new cartridge. By doing this you both save yourself money - and help the environment as you are only replacing the ink rather than the whole cartridge.

Older Printers

Recycled inkjet cartridges are a good buy for older printers. You can save as much as 50% on ink costs - with no noticeable difference in quality.

New Printers - You'll still be covered

Under new European legislation using refilled/recycled inkjet cartridges will only invalidate your printer warranty if the ink can be shown to have damaged the printer.

The fading issue

A slight word of caution is that recycled inks tend to fade more quickly than original inks. You may want to be taken into consideration - but we are talking years - not months - and you can always print another one if the old one fades after a few years.

The Quality Issue

To be honest unless you are a professional photographer you are unlikely to notice any difference. Refilled inkjet cartridges still give clear and vibrant pictures. The only people who might notice a difference is people who use the 20 minutes a page photo reproduction modes.
